I never received my bought, nor my money. I sent many emails to etnies but they never ask
Good: These are made well, & they don’t have leather. They’re breathable, the laces seem nice, they have some traction to them
Less good: They’re quite heavy which I was ok with if the other parts weren’t also a factor: the heel is tight and can rub your ankle, the sole isn’t as comfortable as to make it worth picking over the scout. I can’t really say I find them comfortable, even after trying to break them in.
Overall, I have a pair of scout’s I’ve worn almost out after 7 years, albeit I’m not very hard on my shoes. I think I would go back to that line and just buy some insoles to use them. Full disclosure I am not a skater, I had heard good recommendations for Etnies for vegan friendly shoes and wanted something extremely light weight originally, the scouts have both features in some parts of that line so I will go back to it! I know the weight may be a feature for skaters but for someone like me I only want the weight if its gonna be a very comfortable shoe.
Comfortable shoe right out of the box
They look nice but I don't know how long they gone last. very light shoes
