I've used Etnies shoes for the last 20 years, so in general I'm very satisfied with the quality. But this model is a disaster. Without the threads, the rubber came loose almost immediately. I hadn't used the shoes for more than two weeks before they started falling apart. And not just a little, gradually the glue came off in multiple places, rendering the shoes useless at the worst possible time. My summer holiday was partially ruined because I didn't have proper shoes. And now we have to go through a nightmare of a return process with Surfdome. Stay far away from this model. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Bought cause the toe box is round they also remind me of a vulc SLB I got size 12 nice fit ! No pinch like vans

These were a great price and came in a wide. They fit my partner really well, and they are comfortable for his wider feet. Many shoes this style pinch and these do not. They look awesome on him.

I have been wearing Kingpins for years, (non-vulc) was excited when I saw these online. They look nice but completely different fit than original kingpins, way less material in the tongue and ankle padding. Same exact size i have been wearing (in kingpins) for the last 4-5 years yet these(new) feel like they would fly off my foot if I had to kick a ball or something. Not sure if thats the way the vulcanized are but it seems cheaper....for more money. I have been wearing mine indoors for 2 weeks and Im getting loose seams in the tongue....Again, they look great, just feel cheaper. like some kinda hollywood prop thats a building in the movie but really just 2d when you see it up close. Or some prospective lay in the club that looks **** until the lights come on and surprise, its gollum looking for their precious. Ill still wear them, but it might soon be time to retire the ole kingpins.
