nice flick and durability
As soon as I slipped these on to lace them up I knew they were something special. Perfect shape [for my feet], incredibly soft but secure fit, and I don't even need to drop extra $$ for a good insole because these have excellent insoles already. Suede feels great. The hidden toe caps are a nice touch, too.
Then there's the grip. Ohhhh man, the grip is good. I figured carrying the Michelin crossover was just a marketing gimmick. I thought they'd be good enough, but not much of a difference. I WAS WRONG. The grip is so good, I'm afraid the government will ban them.
5/5 Stars; 9/10 Rating.
The ONLY changes I would make would be minor and aren't essential. Lace protection would be sick but laces are cheap, so replacing them really only costs time and the effort to re-lace. A lace sleeve attached to the tongue bungees/straps inside the shoe would be 11/10. For those of us that don't like the loops and knot to be flopping around outside the shoe, a lace sleeve inside the shoe to slip that excess into would make these the most complete cupsole skate shoe ever made.
But you got me, Etnies. You got me, Chris. I'm a Joslin lifer now.
I’ve skated the Accel most of my life, but decided to try these and I think it’s my new favorite shoe. The 2 layers last a bit longer and the grip as well as the tread pattern is insane. There’s also mad padding in the collar and the heel cup keeps your foot in place. The toe cap either has padding or just feels padded due to the 2 layers of upper. TLDR, if you skate cupsoles, and especially if you like the Accel, you will love this shoe. Well designed, which is pretty much what I expected from a savage hucker like Joslin. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Please dont ever change these shoes. I'm on a mission to own every color way. I think I'm on my 12th pair since buying my first pair years ago, I'll forever buy these shoes.
