awesome fit and quality.
Nice design, but not as comfortable or supportive as other brands of similar style. There is very little cushion inside, compared to the many DC Court graffik shoes I've owned. I'm very careful with my shoes, having them last minimum of 5 years, and the blue hand is already peeling off, after a few days of wear.
This is a beefy stiff shoe that they as say in the description is meant for Enduro/down hill riding. It's a heavy stiff shoe that provides a lot of protection. The camber pros are A little bit lighter duty and more grip but not nearly as stiff or as armored.
Of all the shoes they make this would be my second pick after the camber pro. I wish they would put the new Michelin tread design on this shoe and then it might be a little better.
If you're looking for a stiff shoe with good pedal transfer and a lot of foot protection this is the best I've found when it comes to those qualities.
Like the title says I've tried a decent amount of flat pedal shoes and I'd say this is one of my favorite so I hope they didn't quit making it. Probably the best mountain bike shoe Etnie makes. It doesn't have as much protection and it's not as heavy duty or stiff as the Culverts (My second pick of Etnie shoe) but it's definitely the most grippy one they make. I bought these when they first came out and rode them for a season or better. They're still in decent shape but they will wear a little bit quickly which is the price you pay for good grip. Of all the mountain bike shoes I've tried this is one of the only ones to rival 510 when it comes to grip. The liners nice for keeping rocks and dirt out of your shoes. They offer decent foot protection. They don't breathe the best so I usually ride a lighter weight shoe in the middle of summer and these during cooler times but that's just personal preference.
Just Like The 90s RAP I love this shoe. The insole is money the cupsole are money. 33$ Can't Go Wrong In The Grey Low Tops
Been wearing Ernies for 20 years. First style I cc an remember was Callicut and has remained my favorite over the years. So happy to see it back in the store again even with limited colors. I have 7 pairs currently between these and Faders and Kingpin. Always excellent quality and I know they're gonna fit right every time I get a pair.
I’ve been sent an email asking to review the shoes because the order has been fulfilled, but the order hasn’t even left the warehouse
You should confirm delivery before asking for an opinion… Canada Post strike means they’ve been sitting in transit for a few weeks now. Hopefully they arrive before Christmas…
I have always has a thing for Etnies... They are smooth looking... These Faders I got are no exception! They are a well fitting, sweet looking footwear.
Still hasent arrived because you chose Canada post to deliver it. Probably won't get it in time for my son for Christmas
The shoes arrived exactly as described and pictured and arrived quicker then expected. Although this is my first time ordering them directly from etnies.com,
This is not my first time purchasing these exact same shoes. Which goes to show how much I love them.
I bought a pair last year that were black, white & gray and they had a zipper instead of Velcro on the lace cover and the lace cover flap on the old ones feels a little thicker and overall the older ones with the zipper felt like a better quality product and were right out of the box the most comfortable shoes I ever bought. The new ones are okay but not as comfortable out of the box as the older ones.
The shoe looks really cool but does not fit the shape off my foot. Also is the returning process too troublesome for me to handle, so there goes 100$ out the window.
Not only great for skating, but I bought this pair specifically for work to have a pair that are clean and not scuffed, and these shoes a very comfortable. Some days I am on my feet all day at work and these feel great all day, feet aren't sore and no back pain. They wrap around your foot like a padded glove. I love them!!! Thanks Etnies and Andy.
