Two rides and the outter band is coming apart from the sole. Poor quality.
JAMESON MID CRANK MTB
They do run true to size or you can go a half up. They feel really great on foot, however, when I got my pair fresh off delivery, which was in the winter, I immediately tried them on and felt a lot of stiffness, that said 10 minutes they were perfect :D It seems they will definitely outlast the usual shoes you buy to ride BMX\MTB street. The build feels solid, the materials used for different shoe areas seem on point and the Thinsulate stickers give hope they going to do just fine for colder weather.
Not going to lie I'm pretty impressed so far with the quality of all the shoes I've ordered but I'm not sure what makes these particular shoes mountain bike shoes. No extra protection whatsoever and the soles are not stiff. They are no stiffer than the standard Jefferson's I ordered and the only extra protection is maybe on the side of the shoe where it faces your crank arm if anything at all. Just seems like a regular skate shoe to me with a pro mountain biker's name attached to it. If you're looking for a shoe you can wear day to day and still mountain bike in this will probably work pretty well but if you want a tough mountain bike specific shoe that you're only going to wear for riding then look at the Culverts. On a side note that needs customer service does seem to be almost pretty horrible.
