The Sal 23 is an OG 1990s skate classic - designed by legend Sal Barbier. This low-top suede shoe features the iconic “23” on the side (a tribute to Michael Jordan) and a clean, minimalist profile. The reissue stays true to the original with a padded tongue and collar, STI Level 1 insole, molded ollie guard, and 400 NBS rubber outsole. It arrives with extra laces and custom ’90s shoebox and insole art - recapturing the style that bridged skate and street fashion.

I'm so happy these are back. I had them back when they first came out and the new ones are almost like the old ones. Comfy and wide, the way skate shoes used to be. There were a few imperfections, and the insole isn't as thick as it used to be,but still comfortable. I wish they didn't cost so much. Those are my only gripes. I hope to get the brown and another pair of black, because it's hard for me to find skate shoes now that aren't narrow or cup sole.
Well worth the money though. You guys better keep the slb's on your permanent line.
Super comfy and so high quality
They’re just as comfortable as I remembered, and I’m so thankful you finally brought them back. It’s literally the reason I signed up for the emails - I was anticipating their return.
Keeping my fingers crossed they last as long as the first pair!
I love these shoes. Super comfortable and well made. I wish they would come back in the baby blue though. Highly recommended.

This is not my first time wearing sneakers designed by Sal. When I heard that they would be back on the market, I was very excited. These shoes are a 10/10 in every way and those of us who skate know what we're talking about!
SAL 23
I'd give 0 stars if I could, because that's exactly what I have here. No shoes, no customer service. What a shame to see such a good company fall. No choice left but to initiate a chargeback I guess.
